Pomp and Circumstance
Apr. 29th, 2011 06:41 pmI'm sure most people are probably sick of hearing about it, but I absolutely LOVED watching the big royal wedding this morning. My mom watched Charles & Diana's wedding 30 years ago.
First off, the dress was AMAZING! It's the same style dress I want for my wedding someday, but without the train.

One of the sweetest parts of the whole day was the most anticipated - the big kiss on the balcony. And they kissed not once but twice, much to the crowd's delight!
If you pay close attention (and watch a few times) starting at 2:10, you can see William saying to Catherine, "Did you like that kiss? Kate? A bit more...a little bit more maybe...c'mon..." and then they kiss. It's almost playful, like he's a child coaxing her, but it's all very sweet. And then after they kiss, he's beaming and says, "That's it! One more, just one more! C'mon! How about it?" and she gives him a gentle nudge in the ribs and then places her hand on his back. So sweet!
